Overview
Hotel Alaska is located in the centre of the prestigious mountain resort of Cortina di Ampezzo, just a short distance from the main shopping district. This was once the location of the Winter Olympic Games, so the facilities are excellent. This is an all-season resort which opens up both sides of the valley for winter skiers, as well as cross-country ski trails and a covered ice rink. In summer, there is fishing, hiking, rock-climbing and Dolomite touring for those who want to get out and about.

Nearest major airport: Venice - 180kms. From Venice airport take the A27. Exit at Belluno, from here follow road 51 towards Ponte Nelle Alpi and signs to Cortina D'Ampezzo. On arrival in Cortina follow the road towards the centre and then the one way system passing the Standa supermarket on the left. The road conti- nues up a hill and has two hairpin bends. As the road levels out at the top of the incline take the first road to the left towards the centre and then bear to the right into Largo delle Poste. The hotel is at the end of the square on the right. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Trains until Colalzo Di Cadore, then take bus to resort.
