Mandatory All-Inclusive means that you must participate in all-inclusive and are required to pay the associated fees. You'll pay a base price when you book with Armed Forces Vacation Club and additional fees will be due directly to the resort at or before check-in. The Dominican Republic is subject to occasional power outages. Drinking tap water is not advisable.
As of July 30th 2020, the country will require all incoming international travelers to present a negative COVID-19 test result dating back no more than 5 days prior to arrival. If a traveler is unable to do so, an onsite test will be conducted by local health officials. In the event that a traveler tests positive for COVID-19 at the airport, he/she will be quarantined in a government center.
RCI and its related entities shall not have any liability related to individual resorts’ on-site COVID-19 testing (or absence of on-site COVID-19 testing).
In preparation for your upcoming trip check for any vaccine and/or testing requirements, travel restrictions, policies, or mandates related to Covid-19 to and from your destination. Resources available online include, but are not limited to, government, airline, and your host resort’s website.
