Christchurch - CHC (50 Miles)
The resort is about 85 kms from Christchurch. Take State Highway 73 west to Arthurs Pass. Follow the road through Yaldhurst, West Melton and Kirwee to Darfield. As you leave Darfield, a sign points to Mount Hutt, Route 72/77 the Scenic Inland Route. Follow this road for 46km until you approach the bridge over the Rakaia River. DO NOT CROSS THE BRIDGES. Take the signed acute right turn up the narrow road and the lodge is at once visible. The entrance is on the right and reception is in the second accomodation block.

A car is required. The closest shop is 16kms away. Resort does not offer a shuttle service.
The only two mobile companies that have coverage are Vodafone and 2 Degrees. Prior to arriving it is suggested you purchase a Vodadone or 2 Degress Sim Card or purchase a cheap phone with these phone services.
